Apart from Google search console, where can you place your sitemap?

    •If you want your sitemap to function for the entire site, post it at the site root (as a child of the primary domain).

• Using hreflang tags, you may inform Google about several language variants of a URL.
• The URLs in sitemap files must be properly escaped and UTF-8 encoded.

1. Create a Google Search Console account.
2. Choose your website from the sidebar.
3. Select "Sitemaps." The "Index" section contains the "Sitemaps" menu.
4. Remove any sitemaps that are out-of-date or inactive, such as sitemap.xml.
5. Type "sitemap index.".
6. Click Send.
