A positioning property in CSS is the float property. In order to allow other elements to wrap around an element, it is used to push the element to the left or right. Typically, it is utilised with graphics and layouts.

Text and inline elements can wrap around an element that is placed on the left or right side of its container using the float CSS property. In contrast to absolute positioning, the element is kept in the flow of the page while being removed from it.
